Padron 1964 Aniversario

The Anniversary line uses tobacco aged longer than the standard Padrón blends, and the difference is not marketing — it shows up as a rounder, sweeter, less abrasive version of the same core profile. The Principe is the short, affordable way into the line, which makes it a genuinely useful size rather than a compromise. Expect cocoa and espresso with a sweetness that builds rather than fades. If you only ever try one 'special occasion' Nicaraguan, most people would point you here.

A short celebratory smoke, or a calibration point if you want to know what people mean by a great maduro.
