Nick Melillo's Broadleaf blend, and one of the most consistently praised medium-full cigars of the last decade.
Melillo spent years at Drew Estate before founding Foundation, and The Tabernacle is where that Broadleaf fluency shows. It reads darker than its strength suggests: cocoa and black pepper over an earthy base, with a dry, clean finish rather than a sweet one. Construction is excellent and the price has stayed reasonable despite the acclaim. This is a serious cigar that has not yet been priced like a trophy.
Anyone who likes Broadleaf maduro and wants something less hunted than Liga Privada.
