Davidoff Winston Churchill

The Winston Churchill line was Davidoff's first step away from the pure Connecticut mildness of the white-band series — an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper over a Dominican and Nicaraguan blend, medium in strength, with cedar and nut, a sweet spice and a cream that keeps it recognisably Davidoff. It sits between the Signature and the Nicaragua in weight and is, for a lot of people, the most useful Davidoff: enough character for an evening, enough restraint for an afternoon. The Statesman is the robusto and the right size. Every vitola is named after a Churchill trait, which is silly, and the cigar is good enough that it does not matter. It costs a great deal and it is worth it once in a while.

A special-occasion cigar for someone who wants flavor and finish in equal measure.
