Montecristo

One of the most recognised names in cigars, sold as two entirely separate brands depending on where you are.

Worth understanding before you buy: the Cuban Montecristo and the Dominican Montecristo are different products from different companies that share a name for historical reasons. In the United States you are buying the Dominican version, made by Altadis. It is a well-made, generally mild-to-medium portfolio — the White Series is the most widely recommended line — but it is not the Cuban cigar people are usually thinking of when they hear the name.
