Macanudo is what a very large number of Americans smoked first. The Café line is mild, Connecticut-wrapped, and made in enormous quantities to a consistent standard — which is the actual achievement, and the reason it is stocked essentially everywhere. Enthusiasts tend to move past it, sometimes unfairly; it does exactly what it sets out to do. The brand is owned by General Cigar.
