Cohiba

The Dominican Cohiba sold in the US, made by General Cigar, and unrelated to the Cuban brand beyond the name.

General Cigar registered the Cohiba name in the United States and makes the cigar in the Dominican Republic; it shares nothing with the Cuban Cohiba except the trademark dispute. The Red Dot is the classic line — a mellow Cameroon-wrapped Dominican — and the Black is its fuller, broadleaf-wrapped sibling. Both are priced on the name and both are discounted often enough that patience pays.
